Today, Humanise asks the team at Glassroom, the collective’s media agency, 37 questions in a row. True to form, the team answered with complete transparency (one of their core values, of course!). Now it’s your turn to discover Glassroom in all its facets.

1. How do you drink your coffee? 

Regularly, in biblical quantities and while chatting with someone—coffee’s a social activity!

2. What’s your superpower? 

Making everyone feel good together.

3. How would you like to be remembered? 

Like a dashboard: when all the pieces are put together, it makes sense! 

4. If you had one day left to live, what would you do? 

Probably throw a karaoke party and invite a box wine.

5. What movie/series character represents you? 

Monica from Friends. We like to have fun, but we also like it when everything is neat and tidy. 

6. What’s your most precious memory? 

All the impromptu happy hours, the celebrations that end with late-night karaoke singing, Christmas parties and summer parties with lots of laughs, the party at Bar Bara where we sang Beyoncé at the top of our lungs, wow.

7. Would you rather lose the ability to read or lose the ability to speak?

To speak.

8. What’s your favourite time of day?

Lunch, because we all eat together around the table.

9. What’s your greatest strength? 

Always doing a good job, but without ego.

10. What makes you angry?

When the numbers don’t add up.

11. What excites you most these days? 

The flexible 9/10 schedule, individually having a day off to recharge.

12. What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received? 

When someone recognizes that we’re not like other agencies and that we have a unique media approach in the market.

13. When are you most inspired? 

When we’re in the optimization room.

14. Sweet or savoury?

Sweet at 3 p.m. (for snacking), salty after 5 p.m.

What do you meme?

16. Backstreet Boys or NSYNC?

B-Boysssss, we are way too young for NSYNC!

17. What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done in your life?

Watching Félix Lam (former Strategic Development Consultant and Product Manager at Glassroom) break a rib while testing whether rolled-up mats make good medieval jousting lances.

18. What’s one vice you wish you could give up?

Stop stuffing ourselves with chips and order in.

19. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?

Honesty is transparency, truth is mostly opinion and not absolute, facts are information without context, and if you don’t try, the answer is always “no.”

20. What’s your pet peeve?

When the font or font size does not match in a presentation.

21. What’s something you notice about someone when you first meet them?

If they listen and show curiosity.

22. What’s heavily played on your playlist right now? 

Céline Dion, Adele, Ariana Grande: in short, all the great women singers of this world.

23. How do you start your day?

With a coffee.

24. If you could switch lives with one person for a day, who would it be?

Anything edible that’s made available to us.

Wondering if we can hug the people we love.

All dogs, especially baby dogs.

Again, the new 9/10 schedule model, but more importantly, in general, growing with a human-centric approach to managing work that allows us to be who we are and bring our best selves to the office.

29. What’s one thing you’ve had to learn the hard way?

You can’t carry the weight of the world alone for long, teamwork is necessary.

30. What’s a trend you would like to see disappear forever?

Presenteeism and the fact that we take pride in not taking vacations or days off.

31. What do you like most about your team?  

We’re a team that gives a lot of support when necessary, but also twerks on counters when necessary.

32. What are 3 essential things Glassroom couldn’t live without?

Transparency, a second screen and good people.
